This is the basic building block of the Kerf Wall system. Panels are hung on the wall using metal strut, creating a sturdy, modular platform to hang the Kerf Wall accessories from. All hardware is included.
Panels sizes are based on the spacing of the slots. All of our standard size combinations are represented on this page, but panels may be custom ordered to fit a specific width if need be. When specifying a custom with, please order a panel combination larger than needed and we will cut it down to size. It’s always recommended to leave a couple inches of wiggle room for the installation. Requests for custom sizing should be added to the Special Instructions section of the order form.
For example: You need a set of panels to hang on a 129” wide x 95” high wall. You want the panels to be about a foot off the floor and a foot from the ceiling, so you choose the 15 slot (142.5”) x 12 slot (68.75”) panel array. In the Special Instructions section of the order form you will ask for the panels to be cut down to 127”. We will send a confirmation email with a drawing to be sure everything is correct.
Of course, DIYers are welcome to do the modifications on their own. The panels are just plywood and can be cut on site as needed. Please note it may be necessary to drill new holes for the mounting hardware. If you have any questions we are happy to help.
