Julia and Joel’s House

The light in Joel and Julia's sun filled kitchen really warmed up the veneer on their walnut kitchen. This is probably the most extreme example of walnut lightening due to sun exposure. Both our walnut and maple veneers will gain a honey undertone when exposed to the sun.

We think this is a such a smart detail. Instead of facing a wall while washing dishes, Julia and Joel opted to create a pass through to look through the window over the stairs.

These spots are perfect for your favorite glasses, a cute little bowl of garlic, etc.

A bookcase at the back of an island is perfect for perusing cookbooks for dinner inspiration.

Since Kerf joints are exposed, every joint has to be perfect. For structural integrity, we stagger the joints in our designs. This gives our work its signature asymmetric look.
