Kerf is not your typical shop. Instead of working with a set of pre-determined cabinet dimensions, we actually tailor our designs to fit your specific space. Every project is built to order so that we know it will work perfectly for you.
Our work is designed and built in our shop in Seattle, WA. We ship all over the US and sometimes further.
Here’s a quick run down of the design and ordering process:
First, get an estimate: Send us some information about your project by clicking on the big button on the bottom of the page. Our designers will take the information you give us and we will come up with a rough estimate for your project.
We’ll work on the design with you: If the estimate sounds good to you and you’d like to work with us, we ask for a design deposit to keep working on the project together. With the deposit paid, our designers create a detailed 3d model of your cabinet(s). We will suggest a design layout for you. Via emails and phone calls, we will work with you until the design is exactly what you’re looking for.
Next up, production: Once the design is nailed down, we will make a set of technical drawings to confirm measurements with you and/or your contractor. Manufacturing your project will take about 8 weeks.
If you’re out of state: Your custom cabinets will get packed up in well-built crates. They’re then put onto a freight truck and the crates are driven to your house and dropped off in your driveway.
If you’re in the greater Seattle area: We can deliver and install your cabinets for you, if you’d like.
Please give us a call if you have questions about our ordering process.
